Junior Academy Evaluations are for our: U8/U9/U10/U11/U12 Teams

These rosters include the following birth years:
    2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017

Should your child be offered a roster spot on one of our Jr. Academy rosters, you will be required to accept your roster spot within 3 days of your offer and register for the Fall 2024 season no later than June 10th. Failure to accept your roster spot within the 3-day window may result in it being offered to an alternate player.  This will also be the case for athletes failing to register by the June 10th deadline.

To help you financially plan, please note there are three types of fees associated with playing in the Florence Soccer Association's Jr. Academy Program. These fees may include:

1.) Registration fees - these range from $495-$650 per season (FSA U9 through U14 teams play a Fall and a Spring season).  The registration fees are paid to FSA and may be paid in up to four installments.  These fees pay for your athlete's insurance and registration with the SC Youth Soccer Association, referee fees, licensed coaches' salaries, and other expenses such as technology, camera systems, operating expenses, equipment, field maintenance, and lights for our practice fields.

2.) Uniform kit fees - every new player is required to purchase their uniforms and training kits from Lloyd's Soccer no later than June 20th.  Late orders will result in a delay of your kit and could prohibit you from participating in pre-season tournaments and games held in August. Discounts will not be offered for players who miss tournaments or games due to late orders. Uniform kits are mandatory and include two full uniforms (two jerseys, one mandatory pair of shorts, and two pair of socks) and two training tees to be worn at practice and often during game warmups.  These kits are approximately $250 and will be bought by every player for the 2024 Fall season. These kits will be worn for two full seasonal years.  You will not have to buy a new kit until Fall of 2026 unless your athlete needs to replace their uniform kit for any reason. Again, the uniform expense will be for EVERY FSA player rostered to a 2024 Fall roster.

3.) Team fees - these fees are set by each head coach. These fees include tournament fees as well as the head coach's expenses for tournaments such as meals, mileage, and hotel accommodations.  These will vary from team to team based on the number of tournaments each team attends, but the average team fee ranges from $150 to $225 per player per season.  Oftentimes, parents work with team managers and head coaches on ways to fundraise to assist in lowering team fee costs.

**All of the above fees are estimates and may be higher or lower.
